Special Needs

Facilities at Meggernie have been specifically designed with special needs in mind. The indoor accommodation has a fully adapted shower and toilet area. Doorways to one of the ground floor bedrooms are purposely widened. This bedroom sleeps four in two single beds and one set of bunk beds. The toilets for campers also included a wet-room with shower, toilet and handbasin. This room is also fitted with an alarm.

Many of the activities at Meggernie can be carried out by those less mobile.

We’ve had wheel chairs on our guided estate walks allowing those less able to join in with their group’s explorations.
